Shakespeare

We might all agree that one of the best known writers worldwide is William Shakespeare. He was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon, in 1564 and died in 1616, at the age of 52.

The impact of his literature, it's still present nowadays, 406 years after his death. He wrote many marvellous and amazing plays, sonnets and poems, one of the most famous are Romeo and Juliet and Othello.



Moreover, he's also well known for his perfomances in The Globe theatre at London. One curious fact is that to perform his plays only men could do it, women
acting was not allowed. And when a female role had to he perfomed, young men without beard did it.
